The Volcano Vista High School’s baseball program has experienced remarkable growth, with three teams—varsity, junior varsity, and a c-team—all sharing home games on a single field. As a result, a large number of players, staff, and families gather under the scorching sun to cheer on their beloved Hawks. Recognizing the importance of creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for their supporters, the school sought a new approach that would provide much-needed shade for the fans who watch from the bleachers.
Superior Shelter provided three custom Cantilever Bleacher Shelters to protect Hawks fans from the elements since 2016. These unique shelters combine the features of the Hip End Shelter and the Cantilever Monoslope Shelter, ensuring stability and strength with additional reinforcements. Volcano Vista High School wisely chose sturdy steel structures to withstand harsh weather conditions, providing a durable solution for years to come.
Each shelter was meticulously fitted to the lengths of the respective bleacher sets, seamlessly integrating into the existing infrastructure. What sets these shelters apart is their versatility. Two of the shelters were designed with extra side areas, offering additional space for tables, activities, or even additional seating. This thoughtful addition allows the school to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, accommodating the needs of all fans. The Cantilever Bleacher Shelters offer shade, protecting fans from the sun and the elements, and enhancing the overall game experience.
