At Sun Outdoors Moab, outdoor experiences are at the heart of every guest stay and thoughtful amenities play a key role in bringing people together. To enhance their shared gathering spaces, Sun Outdoors partnered with Superior Recreational Products to install a custom pavilion designed for comfort, durability, and visual appeal.

A Durable Shelter Designed for Gathering

This project features a 20' x 40' Gable End Shelter, engineered to provide reliable shade and protection from the elements in the rugged desert climate of Moab. Supported by a six-column design, the structure offers a clean, open layout that maximizes usable space while maintaining structural integrity.

The shelter’s black framing paired with a charcoal roof creates a modern, understated aesthetic that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape while elevating the overall look of the property.

Built for Comfort and Functionality

Designed as a central picnic area, this pavilion serves as a welcoming hub where guests can relax, dine, and connect. The space comfortably accommodates eight picnic tables, making it ideal for families, groups, and community-style gatherings.

Key benefits of this installation include:

  • Ample shaded seating for guests
  • Protection from intense sun and changing weather conditions
  • Open-air design that encourages airflow and visibility
  • A durable, low-maintenance structure built for high-traffic use

Enhancing the Guest Experience

For destinations like Sun Outdoors, amenities like this picnic shelter do more than provide shade. They create opportunities for connection and memorable experiences. Whether guests are enjoying a meal, taking a break from outdoor adventures, or gathering with friends and family, this pavilion adds meaningful value to their stay.
